Hi Pals!!!

We got to go to the park the park on Monday!

Here I am snaking through the grasses...

Moxie enjoying the sunshine...

Some train tracks we had to cross on the trail...

Mox and Dad!

So many things to smell on the trail!

Plowing down the trail!

Pretty Queen Ann's Lace flowers...

A busy bee on the job...

Thistle...

Pretty purple flowers (we don't know what they are, but the certainly stood out against the other plants!)

Back in the car... 'Dad, you remembered to pack the treats, right?'

Oh yeah, a little post hike snack!

But, after all that fun, we got home and were tortured....

Dad trimming my nails... oh the humanity!

Mox had a bath...

And we faced the dreaded clippers!!!

But, all was reconciled with several treats...

So Mum and Dad got to go to the county fair on Thursday... they said dogs weren't allowed, can you believe that?!

Anyway, this is what they got to see:

Some piggies...

A calf and its mum...

Alpaca...

A couple more calves and cows...

Some big furry cows (Scottish highland)...

Lots of tractors...

Some tractors with attitude... can you read that red sign?

It says, "This tractor's not leaking... it's just marking it's territory!" BOL!!!!

Some beef cattle being shown...

Well, other day Mox and I were hanging out and noticed Mum packing loads of food for Dad's lunch.... she packed this big thing for him:

Dad's giant dog dish...

Where's our cooler Mum?

You pups know the board game 'Clue' ? Its the detective game where you narrow down who done-it, where they did it, and with what weapon.... Colonel Mustard, in the kitchen, with a knife... right? Well, we have one....

Mum.... in the foyer... with a rubber wrench!!!!

The victim...

The weapon...

The crime scene....

The witnesses...

Poor spidey... I wanted to eat him, BOL!

Hey all our beautiful pup pals, Izzie here...

Moxie and I just wanted to take the time to introduce our really good pals over at Life is Better with Sheltie Hair.

Romeo and Gio are gorgeous Shelties that enjoy various pup activities like flyball, rally-o, obedience, and therapy work... as well as being way cool hounds! Their site has some great links and they are very knowledgeable in many areas.

They've joined DWB... pop on by to welcome them! They're really great pups (and their Mum is pretty cool too, if you like that kind of thing, BOL!)

Meanwhile, back at the ranch...

Sadly, Juno went home... good news is, home is next door, BOL! We finished up the week pretty relaxed... we didn't even get a chance to take a dip in the pool again, the weather just wasn't cooperating with us! I, however, was able to get a really good chew in with some wood I found in the yard...

Nom nom nom... oh yeah!

Ok pups, here's the deal. We're going to be in some of Mum and Dad's wedding photos... but we need a special outfit... so which do you like?

Izzie modeling the ribbon and flower look...

The ribbon only style...

And lastly the ribbon with a little fluff (for fun, of course!)

Moxie in the ribbon and flower...

Moxie with just a bow....

And finally the bow and fluff...

If we don't like any of those looks Mum is also considering something like this:

A floral wreath around our necks....

We're also open to other ideas, so let us know!!!! What do you pups think?

Thursday, August 14, 2008

Just a quick post today, Mum and Dad are busy getting things together for a wedding. We're going to have a wedding question for you all tomorrow, so be prepared! We want your help!

Anyway, Moxie wanted to be sure we said hi...

Hi, hi, hi, hi, hi... its me, Moxie!

And this goes out to all our corgi pals (and starving corgadores) and all the other pups who love a good snack!

First off, absolutely ages ago our good pal Noah gave us the awesome "Arte-y-Pico Blog Award"... we're so flattered you thought of us, thank you so much! *blush*

Second, Moxie was tagged for the name game so I’ll turn the blog over to her:

What are your brother's and/or sister's name(s)?

Look where our pawrents went!

It's a place called Worden's Woods...

Here's the trail to the special area...

Some of the cliffs and rocks...

More of the beautiful rocks...

And the most special part... carvings! This is a face...

Cross and bible...

Ship...

Another face...

A little face tucked into the rock...

A big face...

Here it is from further away...

And the trail out of the woods...

Mum and Dad had never been to that spot before so they weren't sure how dog friendly it was so we didn't go... but they checked it out and said we can go next time! Woo hoo!!!
