Corgi Hurdles

More beautiful weather!

After such a long winter we still aren't used to this nice weather... And now there are even flowers blooming in the grass and garden!

It's been so nice Mum even made some homemade "frosty paws" treats...

These are pear-mango-yogurt, yum... oh, and... Piratey, aye MATEYS?!
(thanks, Grammie, for the swashbuckler themed frost paws molds!)

Now flowers for Mona and the Mommy... and everyone elses Mommy... they always like flowers, and with mother's day around the corner and all, happy mommies are mommies that give treats... so here's to keeping the mommies happy!
(and the corgis bellies full!)

OMD, Pals, we sure could get used to this nice weather...

It's literally gone from winter (mid 30's and rain) to 80! I think we skipped spring altogether and are lavishing in summer!

We went for a ride in the car...
A loooooong walk at the lake...
Sat out on the patio in the sun....
And even got a little muddy (tiz the season, you know!)

Spring cleaning...

Well pups, a nice springy day here... you know what that means in this house?
Time for a good brushing, a paw and 'pants' trim, and to get our nails trimmed.

The trimmer... not my favorite implement...

.....ok, but the Dremel and nail trimmers are worse...

Ahh, but this sun feels nice....

Moxie is always so relaxed!

Spring!

Mom's been searching the internet recently for good slow cooker recipes....

She found this one... and decided to try it out...

Eggs, vanilla, allspice, cinnamon, clove, sugar, honey and molasses...

Cornmeal and milk...

It's final demise...

Of course this wasn't food for Moxie and I... but I heard pretty good reviews of the dish...

Mum then moved onto prepping some meatballs for dinner...

Yummy, my favorite... MEAT!

Sweedish, Mum? I thought you said you were having spaghetti and meatballs?

Today, Mum moped the floor and we got treats...

Seems backwards, doesn't it?

Shouldn't we be giving her treats?

Hey Pals!

Being the last day to enjoy the snow before we have a warm spell and rain (and Mum mutters about mud).... we wanted to make the most of it! It was a gorgeous, crisp, bitter cold day of sunshine! So we went to take in the sights!

At the reservoir...

Our walk wasn't very long because it was really cold on our paws! But it sure was fun!

Hey Pals!

So today we helped Mum change the sheets on the bed! She was muttering something about everything being furry and that it needed washed... so she took everything off the bed! We always like to lend a paw to help...

I can lay here, right?

And of course we need to quality check the new sheets to make sure Mum put them on the bed properly...

Then, later in the day, Mum went out for a bit and left us to our own devices... and for any of you that know of Moxie's devices... de-stuffing is they was she likes to spend her free time!

"Oh you are SO getting in trouble for this"

I didn't do it... really this time!

That's a lot of fluff from one little pillow...

Moxie, what are we going to do with you...

I think you might need a 12 step program...

I'm the good puppy, remember Mum?

Mum wanted me to mention that it wasn't a human-use pillow she de-stuffed... it was a little pillow from Ikea... Mum used to get them for Moxie when she was a little pup (before I came around)... and for a long time she didn't de-stuff them... but now she just can't help herself!!!

Today, pals, we got to ride around all day in the car with mum... she said something about driving past houses we might look at or something... we were just happy to go for a ride and be with mum all day!

We hang out in the car... nothing too special, but it is fun! We have a big bed, some toys, and a blankie...

Sometimes we stop and see cool stuff along the way...

But otherwise we do a lot of relaxing...

Sometimes something outside catches my attention... sometimes we bark at that kinda thing... especially if there are people out there!

And we get to stop and check out some cool parks... and leave some pee-mail...

Ok Pups, anyone who wants to play in the snow, come on over! We got about 8 more inches overnight! Woo hoo!!!

Rough and rugged, would probably have big mud flaps with the chrome "mud flap girls" on them... truck would more likely be hot pink, with light pink custom flames... the horn would play "girls just want to have fun"... the interior would be something soft and lush....

Moxie

Classic and rugged, pretty much just as pictured here, complete with "aoooga" horn. Minimalist but comfortable and practical interior... powerful engine and all terrain tires make this truck unstoppable... 4 wheel drive and a winch to make sure!
