Some of our friends...

Hi all, Moxie here...
Other than all the great pups we've found on blogger... I thought we'd introduce some other friends of ours that we get to see all the time...

This is Paco the chihuahua... quite possibly the cutest 'lil chi we know... and he's quite playful!

This is Pixie, elder sister to Paco... she is quite the spitfire let me tell ya... we get to play with these two Chihuahuas quite a bit... they give us a run for our money!

This is Rio, oh dearest Rio, he stayed for us for several months, and well, let me tell you it was quite a hot and heavy romance we had. We were both starry eyed at first sight... we couldn't help but become bosom buddies... this is a picture of he and I being all silly, we loved to play with each other....

Here we are frapping outside, don't we look good together?

Here he is, Rio, in all his handsome glory... as a fellow corgi, we were made for each other... but alas, he now lives in North Carolina... pretty far for this Ohio gal to keep in touch with... how I miss him....

This is our crazy Aunty Lynde... note the slobber.

Here she is again, she's a beautiful Great Pyrenees, hence the immense quantities of long white fur... she enjoys having us as barking pals... since, like her, we are herding dogs... and its all about the barking!

This is 'lil sis Izzie and Aunty Juno, Juno happens to be my real fur sister (from the same litter)... she's just the dearest, sweetest pup.... she's very motherly, too...

Here we are, Me (Moxie), Rio (in the back), and Juno (right) having a chew party... the good 'ole days....

This is 'lil sis Izzie with Jordan at my birthday party earlier this year.... she hasn't really told me, but I think she's smitten for Jordo... 'atta girl sis, going for the older man....

Here he is again, quite the handsome chap, no? He's an older retired service Labrador... he was a wonderful man's seeing eye dog...

Here I am baby sitting Juno's new 'lil brother, Baloo. Yes, he's chewing on my nose... kids these days...

Here I am with Baloo again, this picture is from his puppyhood... he's just about Izzie's age and a big boy now... huge really, much larger than Izzie or I... actually, possibly larger than Izzie and I combined! He's a corgi as well...

This is Katie, Lynde's (the Pyrenees) kitty cat... she doesn't really realize she's a cat, especially considering most of her pals are dogs... this is a rare calm moment for Kate, she's a bit of a hellion...

Ahhh, laundry day... I can't tell you how much I enjoy it when mum does laundry...

• M & I: We chased a mole for a while, but we didn't kill it.... we just kept catching it and letting it go, herding it, etc

• M: When I had a cough

• M: With mama and papa in the big bed
• I: I recently gained rights to the big bed! Now when I'm up there I don't move!

• M: Yeah, its ok, I'd rather float on a raft, though
• I: Oh yeah, I swim, then climb on the raft with Mox and relax... then swim again!

We're headed to "the big house"...

Well folks, we had a wild weekend, lots of partying that, well.... got a bit out of hand... the cops had to come break it up...

The early bird gets the.... Lobster?

So mom is being all... on top of things... and proactive this year, she has already has ordered our halloween costumes... and they've arrived... apparently we are going to be lobsters. Yes, dogs dressed up like red lobsters. Are lobsters cute, you ask? You tell me....


Mom seems to think they're irresistibly adorable, she has been tailoring them to our bodies... she mutters all the time something about dog clothes not being made with stubby-long dogs in mind. We needed a size large just to be long enough for us... LARGE... do I look like I need a large? I'm a svelte 25 pounds... I think this thing would fit a St Bernard for gosh sakes. So, needless to say, the part that fits around our bodies needs to be taken in a bit... well, quite a bit... we could get another corgi in here... I'm sure there will be more horrifying crustacean pictures to come folks... halloween is another 6 weeks away?

So we go to this new dog park they made in our town... its so very cool... there is a pond and everything... the sand is so easy to dig in, its great! We've met lots of new pals too... Check me out in action...

It Ain't Easy being Me...

I just wanted to post a couple photos from the totally rough weekend I've been having... its rough folks, really rough... *sigh*

Our Summer Vacation

Hey there campers, Izzie here to tell you about our summer vacation!




It was back in the start of summer, May or so they tell me, that Mom and Dad packed us up in the car with loads of other stuff. We took a long trip, saw many sites along the way, ending up at the

beach! Check out this picture of me happily riding... I saw a lot on the way, sometimes a lot of my eyelids too... I get sleepy on car rides.













So after crossing many states, making multiple pee stops, meeting lots of folks calling Moxie and I cute... we made it to the beach. Wow, what a great place, I think Mom and Dad should move there. The sand is so nice to dig in, have I ever mentioned how much I like to dig? Well, I do, its a passion really... an art, a science... a love.


Once I craft the best possible hole I can, I like to lay in it. Mind you this whole time Moxie has been barking... not much of a digger she is, but oh man, that gal can bark.

Other than playing on the beach, crunching up crabs, sleeping, barking, chewing on various items we found on the beach, watching sunsets, catching some sunrises, and trying not to get drug into the waves by Dad... we did some sight seeing.

We went to some lighthouses that were just beautiful.

Unfortunately, it was finally time to pack up and start heading home... saying our goodbyes to the beach for this year. Mom and Dad took the scenic route home through some beautiful mountains, we were again able to see the sights... and more nature, our favorite!

Let's start in the beginning...

Hello All, Moxie here...
Mom suggested we start in the beginning, so logical she is I tell ya, when Izzie and I were just wee pups... I was born July 9th, 2005 and came to mom when I was about 6 months old... I sure was a cute whippersnapper if I do say so myself... I was still a pup and hadn't been exposed to much yet in my life... I sure did have a lot to learn.

Here I am first getting acquainted with mom and dad...

This is my first toy, mom still has it around, thinks it's cute because it was my first... Mom gets all squishy about that kind of thing... Moms, sheez.

I had my bashful moments...

I was such a cute kid...

So then Izzie came along when I was about 1 and a half years old, she was born October 27th, 2006 and came to us when she was 8 weeks old... such a little thing she was... she came all the way from North Carolina. Izzie had a lot to learn, primarily that I ruled the house... but I was a good big sister to her and we get along great now.
