Hello all! We had some time this weekend with mum, even though Sunday she decided she needed to cook for dad... and not us! What's the deal with that?! BOL!

So she started with an appetizer of jalapeño poppers...

Spiced cream cheese filling

Wrapped in bacon...

Yummy, smells so good in the oven!

All done, with more melted cheese on top!

And for the main dish, even more goodies!

Mushrooms re-hydrated in sherry...

And freshly made beef ravioli!



Mom was actually off the hook, she gave us half the package of meat she bought with our dinner!

Update...

So, just like Stan and Stella's Girl our mum is busy working on this 'thesis' thing... we sure hope its a 'thesis' about food... something useful like that... anywoof, all we know is she's been too busy with deadlines and writing and all sorts of other stuff to take pictures of us and help us blog. *sigh* We'll be around pals, checking your blogs... and we'll get mum to help us post when we can! Study breaks we say, study breaks! Right?! More soon chums!

Because of the holiday, Mumsies wasn't at work or school (the reason we haven't been posting much), so she spent extra time with us! We've had a blast so far... but there's still plenty of play time left today!

Party Prep...

We've spent most of today getting things together for the party...







We prepared some party favors and party gifts for all our guests...

We got out the funky light-up punch fountain... (who will spike the punch first?!)

Hung the disco ball... (we know Wally, Stan and Amber especially would enjoy this...)

Fixed-up the stage lights...

And replaced a couple light bulbs in the dance floor...

New Years Party!

We figure we would have a huge New Year's Bash here at the lounge... so we added some dance music today... and we'll need all your help to invite people, we forgot! We're last minute kind of gals... so we'll tell all of you about the party, but make sure you bring all your friends too! The more the merrier! In the mean time, get your groove onto some tunes!

After Christmas Hangover...

Hello all of our friends! Izzie here!

Well, we made it around the world Christmas Eve... then we had a bit of a nap Christmas morning followed by opening-up our own presents!

So the presents were stuffies that make sounds! The cow moos and the lobster makes gurgling bubble noises! They are SO CUTE! We just love them too... our Secret Santa Paws did great for us!

Christmas Reindeer...

So... apparently we are Santa's Reindeer this year... let me tell ya, we don't mind the job at all, but lets just say these short legs aren't going to get us anywhere fast... and this whole thing of delivering ALL the presents in one night... we just don't know how we're going to make it. We have a proposal into Santa to start the trip early this year... we'll see what he has to say.... all we can tell you, is to be patient! BOL!
